When entering the market, service staff in Xinjiang ethnic costumes introduce agricultural and sideline products of Xinjiang with open arms, and lots of citizens gather in the front of the stack base and purchase genuine special products of Xinjiang, such as apples in Aqsu, grapes in Turpan, Xinjiang pears in Lorla, Chinese date in Hotan, honey-dew melon and all varieties of dry fruits, enriching their lists.
In recent years, Wumei, Jingkelong, Chaoshifa, Wal-Mart, Carrefour, Huaguan, Hualian, Yonghui, etc, have responded to the call of Beijing Municipal Commission of Commerce, taken part in the connection work between farmers and supermarkets, and set up long-term cooperation relationship with over 20 agricultural cooperative societies in Xinjiang, with RMB 0.14 billion for purchasing agricultural products, including dry fruits, red wine, fruits, etc. and 8,000 tons of purchase quantity, people have chances to enjoy them; Xinjiang agricultural products sold in each supermarket provide people with more channels of purchasing genuine agricultural and sideline products in Xinjiang.
Wal-Mart, Carrefour and other markets also positively organize to train agricultural cooperative societies in Beijing and other cities. In recent years, the training has accumulated over 20 times, with 1,500 peasant households and 4,000 farmers having been trained, which makes 2 million farmers to become rich.
