Notice of Adding the Board of Import and Export Department to WTO Affair Management Department of BJFETC |

To governments of all districts and counties, all departments £¬offices and bureaus of the Municipality and all subordinated foreign trade bodies,
According to the MOFTEC Notice on Establishing the WTO Department and Separately Setting up the Import& Export Fair Trade Bureau (BJFECT Office Issue No. [2001] 605), for the purpose of adapting to the new situation of Beijing¡¯s foreign economic and trade relations after China¡¯s entering into WTO and also maintaining the good fair trade order of import and export, we decide to add the board of Import& Export Fair Trade Department to WTO Affair Management Department with the approval from the Municipal Organization Office.
The main function of this Import & Export Fair Trade Bureau is to take charge of the matters related to anti-dumping, countervailing and safeguard measures; guide and coordinate lodging suits of anti-dumping, countervailing and safeguard measures concerning the city¡¯s import and export products and such related matters; meanwhile supervise and coordinate responding to suits of this kind from foreign countries against our city¡¯s export products.
All units concerned in the city¡¯s import and export industry are encouraged to keep active contact with this department.
